Struggling Siwelele frustrated by stubborn Richards Bay

Siwelele FC extended their winless run in the Betway Premiership to four matches when they drew 0-0 with Richards Bay at the Dr Molemela Stadium on Friday night.
However, Siwelele snapped their three-match losing run and they climbed to the 11th spot in the league standings. The Free State side will travel to KwaZulu-Natal to take on Durban City on September 16 after the Fifa break.
The Natal Rich Boys, on the other hand, are now undefeated in two matches and they remain 13th in the standings. Ronnie Gabriel and Papi Zothwane's side are scheduled to play host to TS Galaxy on September 17.
The first-half saw Siwelele get several free headers as the Natal Rich Boys' poor marking was exposed. However, Thabo Mokhele and Siviwe Magidigidi failed to keep their headers on target in the fifth and 17th minutes, respectively. The score was 0-0 at halftime.
Both sides pushed for the opening goal after the restart. Lyle Lakay's attempt was blocked by eventual Man of the Match Thabani Zuke on the goal-line in the 65th minute, and four minutes later, Tlakusani Mthethwa was denied by the goalkeeper Ricardo Goss at the other end.
With 13 minutes left on the clock, coach Lehlohonolo Seema introduced South Africa under-20 international Thabang Mahlangu. The Siwelele striker had a chance to snatch a late winner in the 84th minute, but his header was well saved by keeper Salim Magoola and the game ended in a 0-0 draw.
