Moment of silence for the legendary Pereira
The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is deeply saddened by the passing of South African football legend, Frank ‘Jingles’ Pereira.
Pereira, who was also nicknamed ‘Mama Ka Sibongile’, played for a number of clubs including Kaizer Chiefs, Cape Town City, Highlands Park, Vaal United, Powerlines, and Jewish Guild.
A moment of silence will be observed in his honour ahead of this weekend’s DStv Diski Challenge fixtures, and next week’s DStv Premiership and Motsepe Foundation Championship fixtures.
The PSL sends heartfelt condolences to the Pereira family, and the football community at large.
May his soul repose peacefully.
