Tsakane’s turn to host MDC Festival

Tsakane will once again get an opportunity to host the MultiChoice Diski Challenge (PSL Reserve League) this coming weekend.

Eight clubs will be in action at the stadium including Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Cape Town City, Bidvest Wits, SuperSport United, Baroka FC, Ajax Cape Town and Kaizer Chiefs.

This is the second festival to be held in Tsakane. The MDC festival fixtures will be played on Saturday, 07 October and Sunday 08 October 2017 with two matches scheduled for both days.

Members of the public will be issued with TWO tickets ONLY per person – subject to availability. The (free) tickets will be available at the Tsakane Stadium ticket office from the 5th to 6th (Thursday and Friday) of October 2017, between 13h00 and 18h00 on both days.

Cape Town City, who scored 7 goals against Polokwane City in their opening MDC fixture, will lock horns with Baroka FC at 10h00 followed by Orlando Pirates against Ajax Cape Town at 12h00.

Bidvest Wits and SuperSport United will clash on Sunday at 10h00.

Pressure is mounting on the defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns who are yet to register a win during the 2017/18 MDC season. Mamelodi Sundowns will be looking to make amends when they play Kaizer Chiefs in the last match of the festival at 12h00.
