We are happy, it’s all about the game. We came here for the win, we got it and we are happy. Sundown are always a good side to play against but today we were better than them.

We always want to achieve the best, last season we came second and this season we want to win the title.

The synergy is balanced, as a new coach you always want to see what you have before you can speak about promotions to the senior team. We have about 5 players who have been promoted to the senior and it’s up to the head to indicate which of the new players he would like to use.

If you say it’s a wakeup call then you mean I was sleeping and the reality is that I wasn’t sleeping.

This is about our preparation, it’s about the changes we made in the team. Bringing in younger boys as I indicated to give them some experience and to measure where we are.

In terms of our academic programs this is a reflection of our preparation because most of the young boys have been involved in tournaments and we have half of the other players involved in other programs of the club like the K Motsepe cruise tournament.

It gives us a measure of what the young boys are capable of and we need to give them time to adapt to this level of competition.

We were playing against a good team, which was coached and prepared well. First ten minutes of the game Orlando Pirates was all over us we expected them to play 4-3-2-1 but we did prepare for formation they ended playing.

For the better we were sorting out our organisation and mind you some of the boys are new in playing at this level of football so they were unsettled a bit but after a couple of runs they started playing well.

I am happy with how the boys played and I would like to congratulate Orlando Pirates on the win.

It was our first game so we tried to find our feet, we could have done better to keep the ball and not give them space in the midfield but it was a good start and a right results especially for the campaign with trying to achieve.

It would be great to use Kutumela in more games and give him game time. The overall team performance was okay and if we can continue with the same momentum the team will go far this MDC season.
