Usuthu confirm Nyundu arrival

KZN NFD outfit AmaZulu have confirmed the signing of former Black Leopards striker Roggert Nyundu.

The 28-year-old Nyundu has proven himself a lethal marksman in the NFD - he got eight goals for Lidoda Duvha last season, and netted a sensational 13 in 14 games the season before.

He'll add to an AmaZulu strike-force already including the likes of Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhuti Khenyeza. The news was confirmed on the club's website:

AmaZulu have moved in quickly to secure the services of former Black Leopards experienced striker Roggert Nyundu on a one year deal and half deal.

AmaZulu General Manager, Lunga Sokhela confirmed the latest addition into the club books.

“He’s now officially signed with AmaZulu FC and we’re pleased to have someone like him joining the team because of what he can do as striker,” said Sokhela.

The 28 year old striker will add much needed bite in Joey Antipas’ side where the likes of Siyabonga Nomvethe, Mabhuti Khenyeza and Sphesihle Nzimande are already vying for a spot to lead the Usuthu in attack.
