NFD: The 2015/ 2016 season in numbers

The 2015/ 16 National First Division season proved to a thoroughly absorbing one, the race for the championship and the play-offs, as well as the battle to avoid relegation, going right down to the last two weeks.

60: The number of points Baroka FC needed to win the title, edging out Highlands Park by one point.

54: The most goals conceded – Moroka Swallows conceded a goal on average every 50 minutes.

50: The highest number of goals scored - Baroka FC scored an average of 1.67 goals per game, or a goal every 54 minutes.

27: The best goal difference; Baroka FC claiming this accolade.

20: Swallows’ run of games without a win between September and March.
