Sekhukhune United's winless run in the Betway Premiership continued after they were held to a 1-1 draw by Marumo Gallants at the Dr. Petrus Molemela Stadium on Saturday, November 22.

Eric Tinkler's side led for all of 19 minutes when Ngoanamello Rammala opened the scoring at the start of the second half, but Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo's 65th-minute equaliser denied them a first win in five matches.

Babina Noko gained one place as they moved up to fourth in the table above Kaizer Chiefs on goal difference, but second spot had been up for grabs with Orlando also tied with them and Amakhosi on 22 points.

The visitors came closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half when Vuyo Letlapa narrowly missed the target with a header from Keletso Makgalwa's cross.

The second half was barely a minute old before Rammala struck, having only just been brought on as a substitute after the break.

However, Sekhukhune's lead didn't last very long after Ndlondlo latched onto Katlego Otladisa's pass and slotted home from inside the box in the 65th minute.

Ndlondlo nearly won it for Gallants in the closing stages, although he wasn't able to finish after running onto Bheki Mabuza's flick-on.
