The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has congratulated Bafana Bafana on their historic qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup following Tuesday night’s memorable 3–0 victory over Rwanda at Mbombela Stadium.

Bafana Bafana booked their spot at the global showpiece through goals from Thalente Mbatha, Oswin Appollis, and Evidence Makgopa. Mbatha opened the scoring with a composed finish after a well-worked move, Appollis doubled the advantage with a moment of individual brilliance, and Makgopa sealed the result with a powerful header to cap a dominant South African performance.
