Chiefs sign striker Moon

Amakhosi have also revealed that defender Siyabonga Ngezana has been promoted to the first team.
“Ryan is one for the future,” said coach Steve Komphela about the newly signed 19-year-old striker. “He will give us options as a striker and on the flanks.
“He played a few games for Maritzburg towards the end of last season and watching his play, he ticks all the boxes. He has strong qualities and with proper integration into the Chiefs way, he will bring value to the team.”
The player himself, the brother of Bafana Bafana international Bryce Moon, was looking forward to the next chapter of his young career.
“I am excited and over the moon to be joining a big club like Chiefs,” he said. “I am honoured to be part of this exciting brand. The facilities here are amazing and this will help take my game to the next level.”
Centre-back Ngezana, meanwhile, follows the promotion of another youngster from Chiefs’ Youth Development, striker Emmanuel Letlotlo.
“Siya is a product of our development structures,” explains coach Komphela of Ngezana, who is also 19.. “We are happy with his progress and we are bringing him to the first team to feel the exact pressure. He is strong and has a good chance to develop into a fine player.
“Our scouting network and development structures are beginning to take shape,” concludes Komphela. “We are having a number of players from our development in the senior squad.”
