MOMENT OF SILENCE FOR THE LATE FORMER NSL CHAIRMAN

The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is deeply saddened by the passing of former National Soccer League (NSL) Chairman, Ashwin Trikamjee.

As the former chairperson of the South African Soccer Federation, he played a pivotal role in the amalgamation of various football federations and leagues in South Africa during the Apartheid era. He was also part of the delegation that attended the unity talks in Lusaka. An astute, dedicated, and quintessential football administrator, Trikamjee served the sport with distinction.

The PSL shares the loss suffered by the family and extends heartfelt condolences to them for a life well lived, and a dependable servant of the country.

A moment of silence will be observed in his honour at all DStv Diski Challenge fixtures this weekend.

May his soul repose peacefully.
