Bloem Celtic sign lethal trio
Bloemfontein Celtic have completed the signing of three players in Roggert Nyundu a striker formerly with Amazulu FC; Ali Abondo, a Kenyan international midfielder who last played for Ajax Cape Town and also Jacky Motshegwa who was with for Baroka FC, has returned home. The players have each signed two-year deals with one-year option for renewal.
In welcoming the trio, Bloemfontein Celtic MD, Rali Ramabodu had this to say “It is obvious to see that we have been bold in acquiring individuals who will add depth and subsequently creating a nice competition among the players. We are elated by the attitude displayed by both the old and new players since the pre-season began.”
Ramabodu emphasized that while the team will be rebuilding this coming season, it will also be prudent for players to commit and fight for victories.
“You see, it has been absolutely awesome seeing the coach and his technical team fervently working with players, thoroughly assessing, making recommendations and eventually informing us of who to sign. Maybe one or two positions still need to be beefed-up then we will be ready for the season. We welcome all the new members of the squad and hope that they will help us with our objectives.”
