Ajax finish Diski campaign on a high

Ajax Cape Town finished their Multichoice Diski Challenge season on a positive not with a 3-0 win over Polokwane City at the Ikamva Stadium on Sunday.
In only their fifth win this season, the Urban Warriors looked dominant throughout, with Vladislav Heric's side determined to impress in the hope of securing places in the Ajax first team.
Former Sundowns defender Abel Mabaso opened the scoring in the 42nd minute, heading home Neo Makua's corner kick to give the home side a slender lead going into the second half.
Rise and Shine looked to get their foot on the ball and had a couple of half chances after the break but towering forward Thomas Chideu scored a stunning second on the hour mark to dent their hopes.
Teenage forward Colin Ryan pounced on a mistake from the Polokwane City goalkeeper Lehlonholo Pali to make it 3-0, with 10 minutes to go after some neat work from substitute Clint Fredericks.
The three points leaves Ajax in 11th place, while the visitors languish in 14th.
