Michael Morton, Sibusiso Khumalo and Thabo September returned to the starting eleven for the hosts as the aimed to batten down the hatches after conceding five against relegation threatened AmaZulu.
Roger De Sa meanwhile included Nathan Paulse from the onset after he impressed for the Urban Warriors in their defeat at Kaizer Chiefs in midweek.
Eager to keep a clean sheet, Gordon Igesund was left frustrated as Ajax took the lead with a mere seven minutes on the clock. A mistake from Morton let Losper in on goal, the midfielder making no mistake to hand the visitors an early lead.
