Dikwena eye fourth spot v Arrows

Platinum Stars will look to continue their quest for a top eight Absa Premiership finish when they host Golden Arrows at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday, kick-off at 15h00.

Stars ended a run of three losses when they defeated AmaZulu 1-0 at home in midweek.

The Rustenburg side has claimed 24 points from 13 home matches so far this season.

Their remaining league opponents are Orlando Pirates (away) and Ajax Cape Town (home).

Dikwena are placed seventh on the Absa Premiership log with 38 points from 27 matches.

Arrows recorded a second successive draw when they were held 1-1 at home by Bloemfontein Celtic in midweek.

The Durban side has claimed just four points from their 13 away matches so far this season.

Their remaining league opponents are SuperSport (home), AmaZulu (away) and Orlando Pirates (home).

Abafana Bes’thende are placed 16th on the Absa Premiership log with 15 points from 26 matches.

In head-to-head stats, Stars and Arrows have met in 21 league matches since 2003/04.

Dikwena have nine wins compared to five for Abafana Bes’thende, while seven matches have been drawn.

Stars have won six of their 10 home matches against Arrows, suffering two defeats in the process.

When the teams met earlier this season in Durban, Dikwena claimed a 2-1 away victory.
