With just over a week to go before the season opening Telkom Charity Cup, the PSL are urging fans to go out and purchase their tickets to avoid disappointment.
To date, almost 55 000 tickets have been sold for the one day event, which sees a return to Soccer City after an absence of three years.
“There are only about 25 000 grandstand tickets left,” said an excited PSL CEO, Kjetil Siem.
“Since we’ve opened ticket sales on 19 July, there has been an amazing response and I want to thank the loyal fans for their wonderful support.”
“It promises to be a mega event next Saturday with fun and entertainment for all,” added Siem.
The PSL is extremely satisfied at the progress of ticket sales.
“We’ve experimented with a family zone for this event and so far so good,” commented the Norwegian.
“Out of the 8 000 tickets allocated for this area, we left with about 1 500 to sell.”
“The family area is a demarcated area for parents to bring their children. Tight security will ensure no alcohol, no vulgar language and a safe and clean environment to watch football. At the same time, children will be able to play in a dedicated area where there will be jumping castles, clowns, face painting, foosball and many other exciting activities. Furthermore, this area will see qualified child minders in attendance,” explained Siem.
Tickets for the family zone are R100 for adults and R20 for Children.
Tickets can also be purchased at R50 and R70.
Hospitality tickets and packages can be purchased through Warwick Hospitality and they can be contacted on 011 467 8400.
