Mamelodi Sundowns now have 52 811 votes and have taken the lead in the race to compete in the Telkom Charity Cup on August 7 at Soccer City.
AmaZulu, who were in the lead this morning, have 49 745 votes, in third place Kaizer Chiefs are on 43 691, and in fourth place the defending Charity Cup champs Orlando Pirates has 39 016.
Black Aces are in fifth place with 34 346 votes, Bloemfontein Celtic have 11 804. Only the top four teams can participate in the annual tournament.
Fans have until Sunday to vote their clubs in to the Telkom Charity Cup.
