Orlando Pirates defender Lehlohonolo Seema has joined Mpumalanga Black Aces on a one-year loan deal.
Seema, who was a regular starter in the Pirates backline in the 2008/09 season before succumbing to a groin injury which kept him out of action for a lengthy period, found it difficult to reclaim his place last season.
“Naturally it is sad to be leaving the club and knowing that I won’t be wearing the Pirates jersey in the new season. However, it’s part of life and I am very glad that the club managed to find a team for me to show that they really care about my future,” said Seema.
“I have already started a new life with Amazayoni. My first session with them was on Monday morning…everything went well and I am looking forward to the challenge,” the Lesotho international said.
“I really want to use this loan to regain my form and hope to help Aces do well in the new season.”
