Bloemfontein Celtic can confirm that they have signed lanky striker Nathan Paulse from Swedish team Hammerby IF on a one-year loan with a option to sign outright.
Paulse previously played for Ajax, scoring 28 times for the Cape Town team before moving to the Swedish outfit. The 28-year old has a great scoring record and his height will pose plenty of problems for the opposition, particularly at set-pieces.
The 1.90 meter striker will provide extra options for coach Owen Da Gama, as Celtic will look to better their sixth-place finish from last year.
Paulse will see his first real action in the Old Mutual Mangaung Cup, where he could play against his former team Ajax, who are one of four PSL sides competing.
