FC AK promoted to NFD

FC AK of Gauteng and Blackburn Rovers of the Eastern Cape have been promoted to the National First Division (NFD), following a splendid performance at the 2009/2010 Vodaom National play offs.

FC AK were the first to qualify for the NFD after beating Mologadi of Mpumalanga five goals to one, while Blackburn Rovers qualified after registering a three nil victory over Island FC of KwaZulu-Natal.

FC AK will contest in a grand finale on Sunday (11 April) at the Ackerville Stadium in Emalahleni (Witbank) to determine the overall champion of the 2009/2010 Vodacom league.

Sunday's finale will kick-off at 15h00.
