Jomo Cosmos and five NFD clubs will face the PSL Disciplinary Committee for separate charges on Monday at the PSL offices.

Cosmos fielded Ousmane Berthe in a match against Platinum Stars on November 21, but he was ineligible to play in this game as he received a red card on November 1 when Cosmos faced Mamelodi Sundowns.

Therefore Cosmos have contravened rules of the PSL, Safa, the CAF and Fifa.

FC Cape Town’s media officer arrived late (20 minutes) for the pre-match meeting against Ikapa Sporting on November 7. The charge against them is for misconduct.

They have contravened rules of the PSL media manual and will appear before the DC for this transgression.

Carara Kicks, African Warriors, Winners Park and Thanda Royal Zulu face the same charges as FC Cape Town.

Kicks arrived late for their pre-match meeting on October 31 prior to their clash with Ikapa Sporting.

Warriors’ offence occurred on December 19 at the Tshifulanani Stadium when they faced Black Leopards. Their media officer was 35 minutes late.

Winners’ media officer was 13 minutes late for their pre-match meeting against the University of Pretoria on December 11.

Thanda Royal Zulu was 40 minutes late for their pre-match meeting on December 19 when they faced Vasco da Gama.

All the NFD sides have the option of paying an admission of guilt fine which is R5 000.
