Ajax Cape Town is proud to announce the signing of Diyo Sibisi from Mamelodi Sundowns.
Born in Kwa-Zulu Natal, Sibisi started his football career at Uthukela FC then moved to Bloemfontein Young Tigers. He also played for Nathi Lions and Mhlathuze City before moving to Free State Stars. Sibisi made his mark at Free State Stars where he scored 33 goals during his time at Stars.
The Urban Warriors tried to sign the player in January this year but were beaten to his signature by Sundowns.
Diyo is with the Urban Warriors as they travel to Bloemfontein to defend their Old Mutual Mangaung Cup. Ajax PRO Shooz Mekuto said I can confirm that Diyo is with the team. He is an exciting player who has an eye for goal and we are confident that he will find the back of the net for Ajax Cape Town.
