The Premier Soccer League (PSL) would like to extend its heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Abe Krok.

Krok, one of the founding members of the PSL, spent a number of years as the chairman of Absa Premiership club, Mamelodi Sundowns where he presided over one of their most successful periods.

PSL Chairman, Dr Irvin Khoza said: “Abe will always be remembered for the role he played in South African football. His contribution to the game will never be forgotten. He might be gone, but his legacy will live for a long time.

"On behalf of all the PSL clubs, both Premiership and National First Division, I would like to offer my condolences to his family during this difficult period.”

Funeral details will be announced in due course.
