The Premier Soccer League (PSL) will observe a moment of silence this weekend for the two young footballers who lost their lives while participating in football matches.

This was confirmed by the PSL Acting CEO, Ronnie Schloss.

Tebello Jeffrey Hlabeli, a former United FC player, passed away during a training session while young school footballer Andani Kutama passed away while playing in a schools tournament in Umlazi, Durban.

Schloss said the moment of silence will be observed at this weekend’s Absa Premiership.

“On behalf of the PSL family, I would like to convey our deepest condolences to Andani and Tebello’s family. It is a tragic moment for our football. Our thoughts and prayers are with them during this difficult period,” Schloss said.
