Leopards hoping to bounce back

Black Leopards will look to bounce back from defeat when they host Maritzburg United in an Absa Premiership match at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Tuesday, 25 September 2012, kick-off 19h30.

Leopards suffered their first loss of the season in midweek when they went down 2-1 away to Kaizer Chiefs in a rescheduled match.

The Limpopo team will be looking to rack up a second home win after claiming four points from their hosting of Bloemfontein Celtic and Chippa United.

Lidoda Duvha are placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with five points from four matches.

Maritzburg kept up their unbeaten run with a 1-1 home draw against Free State Stars in their last outing.

The KwaZulu-Natal side have picked up four points on their travels so far this season, with a 1-1 draw against University of Pretoria and a 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns.

The Team of Choice is placed second on the Absa Premiership log with eight points from four matches.

In head-to-head stats, Leopards and Maritzburg have met in six league games since 2005/06.

Lidoda Duvha have three wins compared to one for the Team of Choice, while two matches have ended in draws.

Leopards have an unbeaten home record against Maritzburg, with two wins and a draw from three matches in Limpopo.

Last season Lidoda Duvha took four points off the KwaZulu-Natal side, drawing 0-0 at home before claiming a 1-0 away win in Pietermaritzburg.
