Ajax Cape Town have secured the signature of Brazillian player, Wanderson Costa Viana on a three year deal.
“We finally completed all aspects of the paperwork and can confirm that Ajax Cape Town has signed Wanderson on a three year deal", George Comitis the Ajax CEO said,.
The Brazilian trained with Ajax Cape Town before the start of the season and returned at the weekend after all parties agreed to the terms offered.
"Wanderson is adept at playing in an attacking midfield role, out wide on the wing or as a striker, thereby giving the Ajax coach options when selecting his team", continued Comitis.
Wanderson played for Santo Expedito College from 2002 to 2007 before moving to Olympiacos, in the Greek Super League. Viana was loaned out to Doxa Dramas in the 2011-2012 season, before making the move to Ajax Cape Town.
He is an exciting player and we are sure the fans are going to enjoy watching him play. Wanderson fills the final foreigner place in the Ajax squad and he will wear the No. 25 jersey", concluded Comitis.
