The Premier Soccer League (PSL) Acting CEO, Cambridge Mokanyane, has announced that fixtures for the National First Division (NFD) have been suspended until further notice.

Mokanyane said the NFD fixtures will be suspended pending a scheduled Special General Meeting (SGM) towards the end of August 2012 that will deliberate and expand on the NFD matter.

This follows a resolution adopted at the previous SGM earlier this month where members agreed that the NFD should be a stand-alone league in an effort to make it more viable as an attractive brand.
