Chippa United striker Joshua Sauls has left the club and signed a three-year deal with Platinum Stars.

The 25-year-old netted 12 goals in the National First Division last season, six each for FC AK and Chippa United.

His joined the Cape Town club midway through the campaign and was a major factor in them winning promotion to the top-flight, though injury kept him out of much of the PSL Playoff Tournament.

He has committed his future to Dikwena and will add to the competition up-front for coach Cavin Johnson.

He is the sixth player signed by Stars in the transfer window so far, along with national Under-20 star Thabani Mthembu (Young Mates), Botswana international winger Mogakolodi Ngele (Township Rollers, Botswana), midfielders Bongani Nyathi (Free State Stars) and Benson Mhlongo (Orlando Pirates) and striker Patrick Malokase (Orlando Pirates).
