AmaZulu took the lead but failed to hold on to it as SuperSport United beat them 2-1 in an Absa Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday night.

Dumisani Zwane netted in the 50th minute but SuperSport equalised in the 78th minute from the penalty spot via the boot of Jabu Maluleke, Mame Niang then scored the winning goal in the 80th minute.
There was little goalmouth action in the first half but four yellow cards we flashed by halftime. Nasief Morris, Moffat Mdluli and Kermit Erasmus being cautioned for SuperSport while the host’s Sibusiso Hadebe got a ticket.
SuperSport’s latest acquisition Bryce Moon tested Tapuwa Kapini but the goalie made an easy save.
Matsatsantsa dominated in midfield but could not supply the likes of Moon and Laffor with quality service.
AmaZulu hardly got a sniff at goal and although Goodman Dlamini found space in the big box, his header did not trouble SuperSport goalie Ronwen Williams.
On the half-hour mark Liberian international playmaker Laffor was replaced by South Africa international striker Kermit Erasmus.
The lanky midfielder seemed to be struggling with a knock. After the break AmaZulu seemed more driven than their visitors and went for the kill.
Usuthu number 10 Zwane used his pace to beat the SuperSport defence before slotting the ball past Williams.
United fought gallantly to get back in the game but it was not until Gavin Hunt made changes that they really threatened to score.
The first substitute Erasmus was hacked down from behind by an AmaZulu defender and the referee did not hesitate to point to the spot.
Maluleke made no mistake beating Kapini and the comeback for SuperSport was on.
With four minutes left on the clock SuperSport upped the pressure and when Niang found a little space in the box he struck a vicious shot that deflected off a defender.
The win takes United in to the top four with seven points while the Durban team still have only one point from three matches.
